Victoria Baffour-Awuah is the Chair of LINCS and has lived in the Leytonstone for 23 years. She is chair of Governors at Mayville Primary School and a CBHA Board Member. She is the founder of the SLGA (South Leytonstone Ghanaian Association) which she set up 15 years ago.
My name is Liz Gentilcore and I am a local resident of Leytonstone. I found out about the Butre project when I joined the local Fair Trade Association last year. I first visited Ghana in January 2007 when I went to learn drumming and fell in love with the place.
Douglas is a Ghanaian who is resident in the United Kingdom. He got associated with the LINCS project through his Business support work in the Waltham Forest Area with O-Regen. He is passionate about any endeavour that will enhance the quality of life in communities within developing countries.
Jude is a Local resident who is also passionate about seeing peopel in the developing countries do well.
Pat is a local resident and have worked in the neighbourhood on a variety of community and environmental projects for the past 12 years. Pat has been involved with Fairtrade for over 10 years and was instrumental in setting up the Waltham Forest Fairtrade Group in 2002 and helping the borough gain Fairtrade borough status in 2007. Pat visited Ghana in 2000 and 2003 and was so inspired and encouraged by the warmth of the people she did not hesitate to become part of LINCS when the opportunity arose.
Neil McClelland works as a coach and consultant. He previously was the First Director at the National Literacy Trust and prior to that was a Local Authority Director for education.
