Sat November 29th 2008, 7:30pm - :Fund Rasing Event at Swindon This event is being organised to raise funds for LINCS's Ghana School Building Project. The venue is the St Barnabas Church Hall, Gorse Hill. Detail Program for the day will be as follows: -

• 7:00pm - Doors open (donations welcome on entry)
• 7:30pm - A word by LINCS spokesperson
• 8:00pm - The Fraser Tilley Trio (http://www.myspace.com/fransertilleymusic)
• 9:00pm - Joe Gentilcore/Ben Altieri/Neil/Toby
• 9:45pm - Danny "Capo" Gentilcore & Friends

Wednesday 5th March 7pm: Star of Indian Restaurant, Leytonstone – There will be a buffet meal aimed at raising funds and creating awareness about Fair Trade.  Liz, a LINCS member will give a presentation on her voluntary work for a Fair Trade organisation in Ghana and the project in Butre.

Friday 7th March 9am: Liz, a LINCS member will be giving a presentation to the children at Mayville School, Leytonstone.  She will be reporting on events during her visit to Butre in Ghana and also about her work for a Fair Trade organisation and her planned marathon in April.

Friday 4th April 10am:  Liz will run a marathon in Waltham Forest, starting and finishing in Mayville School.  The aim is to generate as much local support for up coming project as possible.  In the evening, LINCS will hold a celebratory social/cultural event with African music and dancing.
